About You
The ideal candidate should be an experienced cloud engineer with a strong technical foundation on a major cloud provider, they should also have a proactive mindset and be looking to step into a growing team to support a large retail enterprise platform. The candidate should understand the importance of cloud technology within a fast-paced retail environment and be willing to drive change and support teams to meet the business needs.
Required

Proven experience with Azure or another major cloud provider in a production environment.

Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferable).

Solid grasp of cloud security, networking, and monitoring practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

Customer-centric approach with a focus on reliability and performance.
Desirable
-
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).

Experience with observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus).

Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, VNETs, routing).

Exposure to containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
